Thanks for posting! I just circulated this among my colleagues, although I feel like some of these pointers should become common sense for media relations. Having worked as a journalist before, it reminds me of my meetings with my editor– he’d tell me the same stuff (get to the point, have access to sources, tell a compelling story etc.) It should be interesting to read the comments on YouTube in response to what the AP is saying…

I thought the fact that the video seemed made for the AP’s cub reporters was interesting and helpful. Always good to know what your target’s version of “textbook” is.
